This is a program designed to satisfy the yearning and curiosity of individuals who wants to confirm or disprove their stereotypes by undertaking exploratory trips to places of interests.
People most especially the young ones tends to have many culturally related questions as they come in contact with people and events. Where they are fortunate to get the answer, the they equally wish to substantiate these answers as the saying goes "seeing is believing"
Why?This is an annual event for children and young adults of all ages.
The program committee of GVCN will review many trip requests, events and interests to determine where to visit around the world in collaboration with other children in that locality.
How?Activities of the program will include individual and group researches, video and photo competition, cultural and traditional learning as well as tests of individual resiliency.
This is a yearly event that comes during school’s summer vacation period.
Projections?These are trip programs that GVCN undertake in partnership with some other children cultural organizations. programs. Such trip programs include Children's Bureau Inc program, The International Children's festival etc.
These programs are not necessarily GVCN idea but because of their relevance to our vision and Missions we feel obligated to include the populations we are working with to participate in the trip
Why?This is an annual event for children and young adults of all ages residing in central Indiana.
GVCN do receive invitations from relevant cultural organizations Nationwide and Internationally. We will make adequate arrangements for the children we are working with to take part in such a trip to for exposure and knowledge.
